Does anyone know when new episodes of Hammered are going to be shown? That is my absolute favorite show on DIY. I can honestly say that I have learned more new things from there than anywhere else. It seems like it has been a bit since a new one has shown, and I am needing my fix.

John or Jimmy can give you an official answer, but from what I have read here the network has not yet decided on another season.

I am with you. It is the best show DIY has had yet and I hope they keep it on until Jimmy decides he doesn't want to do it any more. And with the passion he has for design and woodworking, I doubt if he will get to that point anytime soon.

Jimmy and John,

I love y'all's show. I'll stop watching UFC, boxing or a fishing show just to catch you guys.

While I appreciate the art of David Marks and that shop of Norm's; I'm many years away before I can spend more time and money on David's jigs then I do on the projects I build; I'm a lifetime away from being able to get Norm's belt sander that is the size of my truck.

You guys are me (except with funny accents). You build the stuff I need with tools I have.

So does anyone have the email address to the network??? Quick, before they replace Jimmy and John with yet another show about changing this bedroom to look like that bedroom.

Thanks guys, John... Jimmy, I'll be seeing you guys tonight, 9:00... 2100 hours, while you two work on that fish tank.

I haven't watch DIY Network since they stopped airing new episodes of WoodWorks. What's this Hammered show all about?

If I may respond to mvflaim question.

The two guys show all of us guys/gals how to create and build STUFF! They show talent that I think we all have that’s trying to get out. If DIY would just give them "Hammered", COOL TOOLS time, we all would be happy. HINT DIY from a loyal watcher.

So it's a true woodworking show, not a home renovation or back yard builder show? I'll have to TIVO it and check it out.

David Marks from WoodWorks has a couple of YouTube videos on his website now. Apparently he misses the television show gig and is trying something on his own.

There's a guy named Mark Spaneulo(sp) who started his own video Podcast on his website and YouTube a couple of years ago and is now starting to become nationally known even though he's never been on TV. His website show is called The Wood Whisperer and he is now starting to write articles for Popular Woodworking and Fine Woodworking magazines. If Jimmy and John don't get picked up for another season then maybe they should examine this avenue if they want to keep doing what they do.

Just to add my dime, the key thing here is that they make USEFUL stuff.

I equate that beautiful work that Marks does to people who buy a new couch but never take the plastic off. He is GREAT but he makes museum pieces. Hammered is more along the lines of "everyman" projects that are meant to be used and not adored under a muted spotlight.

Another insult for the great city of St. Louis!
We loose our beer company and now we can't get a TV show to come. is it the arch that's shaped like a magnet that keeps the really important people from coming? I just don't know!!!

I like that arch, but I sure as heck would NOTTTT go on the dark roller coaster ride with in...that is the New York Subway minus lights, windows and the stench of human waste...

I saw that it got stuck once. for hours. nooo
thank you...

Let's get a stand gig for JD down in St. Louis..thanks for the support. jOHN

John
you might try the local Harrah’s casino as a gig? the other place is Ameristar Casino.
We have Laclede landing with lots of places were you can play, its really close to the arch you could kill two birds with one guitar, ride the arch to the top and make music. I promise it wont get stuck.

Jimmy and John, you guys have the only show that I have seen that really, I mean REALLY, shows those of us without huge budgets, a shop of specialty tools and access to exotic materials how to make awesome projects. Your show is to DIY Network what POWERBLOCK is for Spike TV. I DVR all of your episodes and watch them all the time since there is never a new one on. My wife, who is not into carpentry at all, likes your show, especially the rustic looking furniture.

I hope the network pulls their head out and sees the appeal you Hammered has to a diverse audience.
