am i the only one that is missing the woodworking shows? as far as i know we cant watch wood works on diy anymore. and i dont know why. i have watched a the same kitchen get remodeled, 10 times. so i know diy has no problem rerunning shows. what do you guy, and gals think of this?
If you check the other boards, you will find that many of the craft shows are also gone which seems that DIY isn't driven by what the tv watchers want to watch. It's a bad time when money is the deciding factor in what they will show. I believe greed plays a factor in today's programing. They are showing shows that have major sponsors for them and the products of theres so hopefully you will remodel with their items.
I agree, I just sent an email to DIY about it. I have watched them build the same 5 houses on TOH for the umpteenth time. I asked them why they cant run more of New Yankee Workshop and Woodworks and American woodshop. I do like Hammered though. But they can run Desperate Landscapes SEVERAL times a week and the same with Sweat Equity.

... and he wears long sleeves.
But there's reasons for both.
He's covering up tatoos.

I agree Hammered is pretty cool but I watch(ed) DIY primarily for the woodworking shows. They appear to be drying up on PBS as well with NYW cut back to 1 a week. I guess you only get to watch what you want if money wants the same show.
Saw an interview they did with Mark and shows are done. He has a school he is doing and focusing on that and teaching classes at his school. So I don't expect to see him on PBS or DIY any more. I agree shows are hard to find. Spend most of my time search the internet and watching video there.
