I purchased a used Cedar Wardrobe and the finish was bubbled so I stripped off the finish and sanded it. I'm ready to put a finish on it but can not determine what finish is suppose to be on a Cedar Wardrobe. Does anyone know what is suppose to be used on this item? Any help would be appreciated.

You can use pretty much any kind of finish you want. Personally, I find a satin polyurethane to be the most pleasing. Of course, you will want to finish the exterior only - if you do anything to the interior except lightly sand it, the cedar aroma will disappear.
