I had a nylon tent once that got mold, due to putting it away damp. Wrong thing to do!
Anyway I washed the area by dipping/washing in Lysol dissolved in warm water and then rinsing and air drying in the sun. It killed the mold, but there was always a bit of a stain left behind.
Don't forget to respray with water repellant after it is thoroughly dry and before your next use.

My suggestion is to use a small amount of apple cider vinegar with water it hasn't stained mine yet then let air dry. I know some people don't like to hear about the many jobs vinegar can do, but it works. it also keeps ants away when camping(if you can take the smell).

Be very careful using products designed to "clean tents". After using one of the cleaners our $340.00 8 man Sequoia tent fell apart right before our eyes. I would suggest pouring half a bottle of shampoo in a bucket, add water and GENTLY wipe on your tent. Rinse it really well. Let dry. It may not get off the mold stain print, but it will be clean. Your other alternative is to sew on a new piece of material and cut the old piece out. Good luck!
