I just turned off "Rehab Addict" because of that incessant acid rock background music just like they played on "Holmes on Homes". It's so gratuitous and annoying. Everyone doesn't have a short attention span that requires constant loud noise to keep our attention.
curiously, I heard many different styles in the transition tags last night... rock, lite rock, jazz, a little fuzz. no acid rock. no hard funk.
current video production utilizes music tags for transitions as time elapses from stage to stage, instead of "Gerry Todd Show" fades or title cards. that's how it is, and you'll hear that everywhere. either a voiceover, or on shows without a paid announcer, it's music transitions. if you watch shows produced on HGTV, it's mostly voiceovers with the occasional music transition.

I always like Rocking music because I enjoy it, once I listen Indian music that to their classical music, and I found it very annoying and very boring.
fact is, them darn kids grew up to be spending all the money... and they grew up with music on all the time.
one thing you may not have noticed is that Rehab Addict and Love It Or List It have the same piece of tag music, a little backbeat with some bass and drum. near the middle of both shows, every week. This message has been edited. Last edited by: swschrad,
