BEWARE, BEWARE TO ALL, the government’ grants to sign up for and receive disks for little to no money as rated by DIY is a money scam! They charge you $1.95 and $2.29 for 2 disks (never received) then every 2 weeks or so they charge you even more money even if you never used (did not receive) the CD ROMs disks. My credit cards are charged $39.95, $39.95 TWICE. Trying TO GET THEM OFF OF MY CREDIT CARDS IS A JOKE! THESE COMPANIES HAVE TO CALL MY BANK AND GET THEM OFF; WE CANNOT OURSELVES DISPUTE THESE CHARGES! AND TODAY?????? I get another bill on my credit card for $99.00 from another company named GRANTMYOFFER.COM… The names of these companies are: GRANTSEARCH 1800-479-0970---the other company is GRANTMYOFFER.com. These companies are in Las Vegas, (of course) and so far I am out almost $200.00 and my credit card companies are NOT helping me because they make money off of charges, and off of the interest. I have to get in my car; AND FORGET THAT I am disabled, go and see the VP and try to get them erased once and for all. I even killed one credit card so it would stop and yet Citibank keeps adding on the charges for a company named Caracol Cream for a 14-day trial. Instead they charged me $59.95 twice! I put that one on a Master Card, and the Grant's on a Visa card. So I am fighting Citibank and Bank of America for over $300.00. I can't get anywhere on the telephone! DIY does not know of this, I hope! I am going to notify them and the Attorney General as I have all E-mails showing what the real costs are and no other costs are mentioned on their websites or e-mails to me. So, I have to go to the Post office too and mail back some face creams that was supposed to be $4.95 and billed for $59.95 twice AND GET PROOF THAT I MAILED IT BACK. I PAY FOR THE RETURN OF OVER $$25.00!!!!!! What the heck is going on with the BANKS that we pay and keep our credit up and yet they don't help us, the customer. I am writing to Las Vegas Commerce, The Mayor, the State Senators, Representatives, and the USA Postal service for false advertising. But, being sick, this makes my condition even worse! All I wanted was some help repairing my older home by REQUESTING a grant in writing and I owe these scammers over $300.00 and Citibank and Bank of America do NOTHING TO HELP its good customers! ME, I AM A GOOD CUSTOMER! I PAY MY CREDIT CARDS BEFORE its DUE DATE; AND MORE THAN THE MINIMUM’S WHEN I AM ABLE. What a pity! What kind of society do we live in now? PLEASE PASS ON THIS WORD AND OF THESE SCAMMER COMPANIES! Please make sure that you or your neighbor doesn’t get stuck as I have. I hope that DIY is watching and listening. MAYBE DIY BEING A NON-FOR-PROFIT COMPANY AS MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE CAN HELP ME SOMEHOW AND ERASE THIS INFORMATION BEFORE I GO BROKE! PLEASE DIY, CAN YOU FOLKS COME TO MY HOME AND HELP ME WITH 2 NEW BATHROOMS, AND UPDATE MY KITCHEN? WHAT DO YOU SAY FOLKS? HELP ME OUT AFTER NOW SPENDING OVER $300.00 WHEN THE MONEY’S COULD HAVE BEEN PAINT FOR MY CABINETS INSTEAD????

You are not complaining or talking to anyone at the DIY Network when you complain about this on this message board.
These boards are a group of persons that have experience in DIY projects or trades that can assist others with problems and questions about various topics that are covered on this board.
The thing THAT YOU SHOULD DO IMMEDIATELY is contact your State Attorney General. Explain all of this to someone in that office and they can assist you.
