Hi all, I'm very new to this forum. I as I read through I realized that there where a lot of people besides myself that miss Vickie Howell and the show Knitty Gritty. The show was great in my humble opinion. The sho really inspired me to knit and be proud of knittig as a young "knitster." I can't imagine the show received poor ratings! Does anyone know the reason why it no longer record new shows? Was Vickie herself no longer interested?

I live in southeastern Michigan and subscribe to Comcast cable. I'm able to see the shows Frisday at 6:30am. Although they are repeats, I still enjoy them and I'll take what I can get.

Perhaps DIY / HGTV will pick up another, you cool knitter!

It has been almost 2 years since they taped a new show.

Join Ravelry , then join the Knitty Gritty Group there. Vickie posts there. She never posted here.

as for my petition to save the show, it fell on deaf ears as if we did not count.
