I currently have a yarn winder or wool winder I guess it's called, that is white and red plastic. This one:

I see there is also a white and blue one by Royal:

Would anyone happen to know if they wind the same size ball?

Thanks!

They're the same unit - I have the blue one and my aunt has the red one but an older model that doesn't come with the center cone. You're meant to put a toilet paper roll on the base and the yarn wraps around the roll.

The only difference between them that I've noticed is in the clamp.
