Some time ago I saw an episode of Knit one, Purl Two, On Diy. The show is no longer on, but I really need her pattern for the feather and fan baby blanket. Can anyone please help me? I did a search on DIY, the episode came up, but the directions are not there. Thanks so much for any help
I tried the link you sent, but all that came up was the DIY network site map. I looked around, but didn't find anything. Thanks for trying, maybe someone else has the pattern. thanks again, Peachylynn
Hi, I followed the link you sent, I got a list of the projects, but when I click on the episode I don't get the directions. Did you go to the sight, and were you able to see the directions? I'm wondering if my anti-virus is blocking the content??? Thanks for the help, could you please check on the sight again? I'd really appreciate it. My daughter is having her first baby, and I would really love to make this blanket for her. I can remember some of the directions, but cannot remember how to blend the colors. Thanks again, Peachylynn
It looks like the craft sections of the DIY site are beginning to disappear!
I remember the show, sort of. I know she used 2 strands of sport weight yarn. Was it something like 3 pattern repeats with 2 strands of pink, then 1 pattern repeat with 1 strand pink and 1 strand yellow, then 3 repeats with 2 strands of yellow and so on? Or was it so many inches?
Unfortunately, everywhere I look links back to DIY and it's gone.

Hi Shooby, You remember more than I did!!! I remember changing the different colors, but not how often to do so. I never printed out the directions because I thought they would always be there.SURPRISE!! I'm spinning Llama wool to make the blanket, and will then dye the yarn. I guess I'll just have to experiment with a swatch. Thanks for helping me, if all goes well maybe I could post my own directions! Peachylynn
I used the stitch pattern and cotton thread to make a curtain for the back door, but I haven't tried a baby blanket yet. I loved Edith's blended colors. I just looked at the baguette bag pattern a couple of weeks ago. Stupid me, I didn't print it.
Let me know how the blanket turns out. I may try it as a stash buster afghan. I am loaded with worsted weight yarn. I remember she used larger needles (was it #10's?), so I guess 2 strands of worsted on #13's would probably show the lace pattern nicely. Oh, well, it's worth a try.
