Taking power from end of dimmer switch circuit
I don't seem to be able to.

Could I install an outlet below the switch and branch with 14-3 to my dimmer and14-2 to my fan??

Thank you

What you can do is call a professional electrician. You're question is too vague to answer properly.

it's like math... if you can't define it, you can't fix it. second Sparky's advice... call the man.

short answer is that you can only dim lights, nothing else on that side of the dimmer will work, and may become very ugly.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?

Thats what I also read into the post. Once again if you can not properly describe what you may want to do, then please don't attemp doing it. You risk injury, property damage and insurance issues, to name a few...
