Hello, our kitchen is 8x12' We can fit a small table in it that sits 3. We have 5 people living here. So the family is always separated. What happened to families who eat together bond more?? I just want to give my parents back what they've given me, a new bigger and more functional kitchen! Please help!!! Heidi Schupp

this is not the venue to apply for a show. when the producers of, say, I Hate My Kitchen or Kitchen Crashers, are ready to start casting another season, it goes under the "Be On DIY" header on the home page here.
definitely, in order to expand a galley kitchen, walls have to come down. which means you sacrifice all or part of another room, or do a code-compliant addition onto the house. the latter path is fiendishly expensive, and takes a lot of lead time to generate plans, get them permitted, build footings, and the like. and I've only seen it done once on either show for that reason.This message has been edited.
