exterior home
Looking for some advice my husband and I bought our dream home about 3 years ago, the property sat empty in foreclosure for some time. Over the past three years we have done a lot of clean up and restoration. We now are looking in to changing the front exterior of the home, we live in a small town in FL somewhat “Country” area we have horses. Our house looks very out of place. I would like to dress it up (I love the tin roof, hardie plank siding look and would love a porch) I have searched the internet for a program but was unable to find one. Please let me know any thoughts.

all your architectural detail will disappear if you put a wrap-around porch on your home. that would give it sort of a "clearance corner at the home center" look.

a wider shot of the property might help others think of things. not knowing what the rest of the place looks like, all I could think of was English gardens in front.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?

I will get more pics, I was thinking of a small porch if any but I will have to change the roof structure in the front. Mainly want a country look possibly changing the round pillars and stucco to hardie plank, just looking for ideas or suggestions.

Boy did you buy the wrong house if that's the look you would like have had.
1/2 the people on here would kill to have a home like yours, it looks great the way it is.
What's your budget.
To do what your asking would be in the $50,000 range.
Most likely you could not enven stay in the home while this was going on.
The whole roof would have to come off and be redone.
All the stucco would have to be stripped off.
Got plenty of land? Sell that one and build a new one.
