the floor has settled (using a 4 ft.level against outside wall, there was a 1 inch drop at the end of level), if i level the main support beam in the crawl space, will the toilet get cracked? the house is small, single floor with crawl space.
Be aware that there are a couple of different ways to correctly level a house. There are also countless ways to do it wrong - causing more damage or injury to yourself. Make sure you know what you are doing or get somebody who does to help.
Got some pictures of under the house? If there is a support beam there already and the floor still sagged one reason can be no one pored a propper footing for it so it sunk. It needed to be 24 X 24 X 6 to 8" thick with rebar in it.
