We have a two story house and we would like to remove a wall on the second story. I am pretty sure that this is a load bearing wall as the wall runs through the second story, first story and is on a metal post in the basement. I have seen other load bearing wall removal videos that indicate you need to run the new load bearing posts all the way through the house, but since there is a wall on the first level and post in the basement, would we just need to support this level?

You need to hire a contractor - this is not a DIY type project. Even with a licensed GC running the project, depending on local code requirements you may have to bring in a licensed structural engineer to make up or approve any plans.
