I was trying to find out what the standard height is for high volume ceilings. Regular flat ceiling from floor to ceiling?

Not sure what you mean by "high volume" but a standard ceiling in an average house is 8' even. Larger houses are frequently made with 9' ceilings. Custom heights can vary beyond that but 8' and 9' are the most common. Jaybee

The standard ceiling height can vary from place to place, and over time. In the 1970's, the average ceiling height was 7 feet 9 inches. Today, a standard ceiling height is nine feet on the first floor and eight on the second. Upscale houses have a standard ceiling height of 10 to 12 feet.
