I'm finishing off the cabin ceiling and have all vaulted ceilings. A 6pitch dormer that meets the 10pitch main roof at the ridge pole. The framers left me NO joists to use as nailers, but I think I can work some in. My biggest question is how do I figure out the correct angles to cut the boards so they match cleanly. I prefer not to but joint them and use trim, but if I have to I will. Thanks for helping with your experience and advice.
