Does anyone know how to make a photo transfer from an ink jet printer washable? I want to put a photo transfer on a blanket that will be washed several times throughout time and I'd like for the transfer not to fade or bleed too much. Can anyone give me suggestions? Thank you in advance. Betsy Bee Smile

I too am wondering how to get the ink to set. I read on another message to us Ink Jet Set before you print out.I have already printed my pics and started piecing them together for a quilt. I just realized that it would bleed (I'm a little slow I guess(: Have you found anything that you can put on after you print to stop the bleeding. I hate the thought of having to do it all over. It's for my folk's 50th Anniv. Please let me know I would really apreciate it. Thanks

Hello, I don't know if this will help you . But I made a blanket 2 years ago useing photos.I bought Bubble Jet Set 2000 dir on bottle & you have to buy the Bubble Jet Rinse . I prewashed white materal had my husband cut a piece plexie glass 8by 10 size let fabric to set in set 2000 for 5 mins get out let dry.iron fabr to frezzer paper to fit your printer .print pic let set 30 mins hand wash in mild det. or mach was delicate cycle for best results use bubble jet rinse .that is what it says on bottles I still have. On the rinse bottle it says seals bright colors in fabrics to prevent bleedig while removeing unwanted stains .dir. add 4 capulls or 2 oz of rinse to 1 gallon of cold water excelent for bleeding fabr fadeing spotting.I try to sew but new at it going to send a picture of the quilt .my bed is smaller than theres I put pictures of there 2 girls on the blanket .I hope this helps you out you can buy them at BenFranklin yuo can look up. www.cjenkinscompany.com is what the bottle says 1 bottle set costs $16.95 .Rinse$6.95 you can reuse the liquids allso . good luck
