I will be refacing my kitchen cabinets and also replacing the cabinet doors and drawer fronts. I am thinking the best way to apply the finish will be with an HVLP spray system that I can rent. I would like to use a semi-gloss (or maybe even full gloss) clear polyurethane on new oak (no stain). I have been a loyal Benjamin Moore user for many years so that's my first choice. But spraying? I can not find anything on the BenMoore website for advice on technique (thinning, spray tip size, etc.) or specific BenMoore products for this. I have plenty of experience with an HVLP setup, but not inside my house in the kitchen.

Of course I don't Have to use BenMoore, but I have never been disappointed with any of their products so I'm starting there. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

spraying inside the house ? Boy are you asking for problems. for one thing, if you use an oil base paint, you had better make sure that all pilot lights are off as well as any other source of flame. Then when you are all done, you're going to have to clean up the overspray that will be on everything. I know, know, hvlp is not supposed to have overspray, but trust me on this, you will have it.
Take your cabinets outside when there is little or no wind and the insects are at home sleeping. Also use a fast drying paint, laquer, or varnish
