I have had someone come in and repair the plaster on my horsehair plaster/lathe walls, I painted and the lathe is showing. Is there a paint I can use to remedy this or anything I can do so the lathe does not show through?

Unless you go with some serious texturing in the paint, then paint is not going to cover this. Sounds like you may need another layer or two of plaster to smooth things out.

Rub your hand over the wall.
Can you still feel the flaws?
No paint is going to make any thing smooth.
