I would like to paint the exterior of our windows -- metal. Can I do that? What kind of paint should I use? Thanx for your help!!
Just about any exterior grade paint will work. The important thing is the prep work - Make sure all loose and flaky paint is scraped off and sanded smooth. If you hit raw metal, use a primer rated for metal before painting the top coat.
Jaybee is correct, however I recommend priming all metal to be painted. We always use Zinnser brand primers. You should use the "BIN" type primmer. It drys in minutes and sticks to anything. Good luck
