My bathroom sink and tub knobs do NOT have screws or set-screws. I need to remove these solid brass knobs in order to polish the brass and remove corrosion. No manufacturer marks could be found on any of the pieces.

        Question:
Does anybody have experience removing knobs that do not have screws or set-screws?

        Choices:
Five biggest manufacturers could not help.
        Six 'master plumbers' are clueless.

Your "choices" answers aren't even related to your question, and suggest more of a complaint than a query for help. This may make folks wonder if you're really serious.
