Does anyone know where to find a model code on a Manco cylinder? Need to find out litre capacity to order replacement parts but can't find any details on the paperwork or the cylinder itself (which was installed c. 2007). Thanks
Googling suggests this is an expansion tank or a hot water storage system. I'd call the plumber, lot of water and this is probably an engineered system. the plumber can probably call his wholesaler and pick up the parts between drives to his other stops for the day. they have the experience to eyeball the installation and talk it over with the counterman to get the correct parts. This message has been edited. should be a gallons stamp on the tank, an expansion tank is just a bladder in a tank. pushing back on the system...as swchrad suggested, go to supply house and tell them the size boiler/heater you have
they will hook you up..
look on the tank,,,there should be a shreater valve
thats a valve like you have on your tire to fill with air....using a tire gage, ck the pressure
if no pressuire, thats the problem.
not knowing anything about your system, i cant begin to say what your pressure should be....remove the tank...should be a valve on top to turn off the water
or rather isolate it..unscrew it and take with you to the nearest plumbing supply house...ask them to give you an equivelent tank....amatrol
Thought that what was being talked about.
Popeye only reached for the Spinach can as a last resort...
