Not the humidity in the HOUSE. You just need the humidity in the bathroom to be high to have a sweating toilet tank.
Generally, toilet tank condensation is entirely due to a poor understanding of the space-time continuum, which amongst space aliens, is also called "poor toilet timing".
Think about it. Most people use the toilet before having a bath or shower, and when they flush the toilet, the tank gets refilled with cold water.
Then they proceed to have their bath or shower and in so doing, fill the air in the bathroom with humidity. Naturally, the humdidity condenses on the coldest surface, which is the toilet tank, and drips all over the floor, or baseboard or whatever you have under the toilet tank.
The trick to eliminating toilet tank condensation is to understand the space-time continuum. You want to ensure that a cold toilet tank doesn't occur at the same point in the space-time continuum as high humidity from a bath or shower. So, if you have two bathrooms in your house, use the toilet in one bathroom and the shower or bathtub in another, thereby separating the two events in space.
I have a friend who's really really smart. He graduated from high school and now works at Area 51 in Nevada. He says that aliens avoid toilet tank condensation by cleverly avoiding flushing the toilet. What aliens do is use the toilet first, but simply lower the lid on the toilet bowl instead of flushing it. Then they have a bath or shower, but don't drain the tub or let the shower water run down the drain. Then they use a large pail to pour the grey water from the tub into the toilet bowl to cause the toilet bowl to flush, thereby avoiding the existance of a recently refilled toilet tank occuring in the first place. Then they use the bathroom ceiling fan on the space ship to clear both the odor and humidity out of the bathroom at the same time.
So far, that's about all they've managed to reverse engineer from the crashed space crafts they have at Area 51.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Nestor,
