How is the best way to seal outboard motor mount holes in fiberglass transom below water line. I'm replacing the outboard and need to repair holes before drilling new ones.
        Thanks

The simple way is to install bolts to fill the holes. Make sure the transom holes are dry and use a good silicon sealant around the shaft of the bolt. Unless the bolts interfere with the new mount location, this is by far the easiest method of making sure those old holes do not leak.

Other than that, you are looking at plugging the holes with something solid, then doing a fiberglass overlay patch on both sides.

Thanks, I'll try the bolts, hopefully that will work.
