pecan cup tarts
1 stick butter
1 3 oz cream cheese
1 cup flour
1 egg
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 tbls melted butter
1 teas vanilla
3/4 cup pecans or walnuts chopped fine
cream butter and cream cheese, add sifted flour, blend well
let dough rest in fridge for at least 1 hour
pinch off dough into 1 1/2" balls
but ball into a minature muffen panpress against bottom and sides to msake crust. sprinkle with pecans
beat egg and add brown sugar
add melted butter dash/salt vanilla
fold in ground nuts mix well
put mixture in crust
bake at 350 for 18 minutes
reduce heat to 250 for 10 minutes
cool tarts then sprinkle with 10x sugar

Pecan pie is one of my father's favorite foods, so this definitely will be added to my recipe list.
