That would work, except I don't think I've had a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew in 40 years.

Around here pasta is the go to don't feel like cooking meal. If we have some left over meat from a Sam's Club rotisserie chicken I'll shred that up mix it with a jar of Alfredo sauce and serve it over pasta. Throw in a green vegetable and a salad and you're good to go.

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.

My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Frodo,
I've driven to Biloxi after Katrina to do some volunteer work, being "right" over is a relative term.

It would be fun to meet some of the regulars here. Over at another board I used to post at until the pol-i-tics got too nasty there is a regular that lives about 20 miles from me. We've chatted but never met.

Isn't this when it's time for your sweetie to step in and offer to take the dog for a walk, play with the kids and calm the house down while you fix dinner? Big Grin

Maybe it's time to mobilize the kids and put them to work too. They'll have to learn to cook sometime. Big Grin

And throw the dog a few scraps; sounds like it's a good dog. Smile
