Saw picture of granite pieces being used around planting beds for edging. They looked about 12" sections just laid around the bed overlapping each other. Looked nice. This would work for larger pieces. How about using the smaller ones for mosaic tables etc. You could probably cut into smaller pieces with a tile cutter (water cutting). Depending on the thickness of the pieces, you could tiles around a mirror. You could try to sand edges with a sander (emery paper and water by hand). Workers who installed my counter top sanded the edge by the stove with a sander and fine/supefine sandpaper.
