I'm handpainting on marble tiles, which will be inset to decorate the doors of a bathroom vanity. I'm using special paint pens (Uchida DecoColor pens) designed to write on tiles, china, etc. I'll bake the tiles. Question is whether I need to apply some type of polyurethane or acrylic to protect the tiles. If I do, it's imperative that the topcoat does not yellow since the tiles are white. Any thoughts?
I would not put anything over the baked on paints. If you do not use abrasive cleaners on the tile doors (cannot imagine why you would need to), the paint should be just fine.
