New to some of this crafting and wanted to know if anyone knew if you could melt soap after it is already made?

Yes, I have done that. I started saving all the little slivers of soap. Put them in a sauce-pan on low heat. When they melted, I poured into a throw away pie pan, and when solid again I cut into squares. Or you could use molds.
