I really want to learn to make a seed beaded wallet or small bag. I have looked for books, but most just show techniques for making bracelets. Can anyone recommend a book or author that I can get on how to do this? I'm desperate!
I am thinking you are wanting to do a peyote stitch on the seed beads. You might want to try looking for books or mags that show you how to do that stitch. I have been making a small bag for my cell phone (of course, I have been "making" that bag for about 4 years now!) Often bead stores will have magazines that show you how to do the techniques. good luck!
or are you interested in making a real size bag? like the photos here: Beaded bag photos If this is what you wanted you have to either learn the right angle weave beading technique or the peyote stitch beading first, I mean the basic, then you should have no problem finding free patterns for RAW or Peyote to bead your bag with.
