I'd like to know some ideas to freshen up our garage. We live in a duplex with garages in the middle meaning that there are no windows for air flow. I'd like to freshen up the area in which the air can get pretty stagnant and pick up car odor, lawn mower, etc. (all short of moth balls...those aren't a pleasant smell to me either).

thanks for your help!

Try orange peels, they willo retain the scent for quite awhile, but make sure that if you use fresh peels that they don't have too much moisture in them or they might get moldy . You can also tie a couple of cinnamon sticks together and hang it up. That is guaranteed not to mold.

Thanks for the thoughts. (could probably use eating the oranges too..)

What are some thoughts about cedar blocks, humidity controllers, etc.??
