In installing our new storm door we inadvertedly left the protective plastic on the white trim of the door. The sun seems to have baked it onto the trim. Any suggestions on how to remove the plastic now?

I'd probably try a PLASTIC windshield ice scraper.

Lee Valley also sells plastic razor blades that you could hold in a pair of needle nose style locking pliers to scrape the plastic off without damaging the trim.

        Googone or WD40?
I would probably contact the manufacturer of the door. Usually there is a website or 800 number somewhere in the literature if not actually on the hinge of the door. They may be the best reference as to what would work best, as no doubt you are not the first or the last to have this happen.
