I have an older 36" storm door installed on my residence. It currently has a full glass insert (measuring 65"H x 31 1/2"W). I want to replace the glass insert with a screen insert. The problem is I cannot find any labels or markings on the door that says what brand it is. I checked the local home depot and lowes and could not find anything that would fit. Anybody ever have this issue?

the Depot does not carry all brands of doors. along the jamb might be a label, if so, good likelihood it's a Larson door.

but there have been so many regional brands that perhaps your best option is to buy a new storm door. they're not hard to install, worst case a couple hours if you know which end of a power drill hurts when held, and you get the address and web site of a current manufacturer if you have issues in the next 5-10 years and need a part or two.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
