        Need to know how to age pine board. Im planing to use as beadboard in my bath room. Any help would be appreciated.

        And how do you plan on sealing this and still have it look like aged wood?
        Your thinking of installing this soft, poris wood in the room with the highest humidty.

        Pine will age beautifully if allowed to age naturally, but that provides no protection for the wood. Most of my furniture is pine, assembled from kits I bought. Because I love the look of naturally aged pine, I never finished it.

        Over the years, I have regretted that decision. Unfinished pine will and has picked up and absorbed body oils (just from legs or arms resting against the wood), moisture and anything capable of producing a stain.

        I'm no expert, but I think if you stain the pine to protect it, you stop it from aging and developing that mellow look of naturally aged pine. You may have to make a choice between aging and protection. Again, I'm no expert and have certainly made some mistakes in working with pine.
