Window stuck
I live in a condo and one of the slide windows will not come out so I can repair the screen.
I looked up at the top of the frame and it looks like it is buckled which is catching the window when I try to push it up to take out the pane.
Any suggestions on how I can get past this?

Just to clarify, is it the frame of the screen or the slider that's buckled? And what kind of repair does the screen need? I assume it's impossible to repair it without removal?

common in aluminum combo windows. you will have to push the buckled portion back under its index while lifting the window.

the frames are hollow. somebody tried to muscle it into place, and bent the screen frame. doesn't straighten out well, either. be very careful with that window in the years to come.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
